Selling The Formula 330 SS

Anyway, lots of lookers and people wanting to buy it, but few with the means to do so.

I did have a couple of offers, and in the end got my asking price.  The total time to sell was about 7 weeks, which was fine as I got to use the boat for the balance of the summer

Several local people were quite interested, but needed to sell their boat first before making an offer.  After all was said & done a prospective buyer from about 1400 miles away made a 2-day trip with a trailer to buy the boat just after Labor Day 2021 . . .  The boat was sold and I could then focus on buying the next boat.

Selling the Formula was fairly easy, given the strong market for boats in the 2020-2021 timeframe.  In July 2021 I placed an Ad in a few popular places on the Internet and received a few inquiries each week.  Since the boat was older ( 25 years), it was a bit more difficult to sell than a much newer boat.  However, given the price was about the lowest on the market and the boat was well maintained, there was a fair amount of interest.

Every used boat has its advantages and disadvantages.  This boat was no different . . .  Age and hours on the engines were the two disadvantages. Maintenance, added features, and recent upgrades were the advantages.
