2005 Season - I stripped all of the 'old' bottom paint off and applied a barrier coat, then new bottom paint (white).

2006 Season - Ready for Prep/Painting - The barrier coat (gray) from last year can be seen under last season's bottom paint.

Painting the boat on the trailer is somewhat challenging, and in the first few years, I removed the bunks to gain access to the hull bottom.

Lately, the bunk hardware has rusted & seized up, so bunk removal is not an option.  I now jack up each side to gain access. 

I use ePaint EP-2000 (environmentally friendly and comes in white); it works out great.  It is ablative, but has a harder, smoother surface than other paints.
